Shield Joinery Services manufactures bespoke traditional timber staircases, combining skilled craftsmanship with over 40 years of joinery experience. As a family-run business with our own joinery workshop in West Hampstead, we produce high-quality staircases designed to suit both period and modern properties.

Each timber staircase is made to measure, ensuring it fits seamlessly within the space while maintaining traditional proportions and detailing. From classic straight flights to more complex designs, our staircases are crafted using carefully selected materials and built with strength, safety, and longevity in mind. We pay close attention to balustrades, handrails, newel posts, and detailing to achieve a finished result that enhances the character of the property.

We regularly work on refurbishment projects, extensions, and new builds, supplying staircases for both residential and commercial clients. Whether replacing an existing staircase or installing a new one as part of a larger project, we offer a tailored service to meet your requirements.

All work is carried out with care and precision in our West Hampstead workshop, allowing us to maintain full control over quality from start to finish. With Shield Joinery Services, you can rely on experienced craftsmanship, personal service, and traditional joinery built to last.
